Paul Maddern was born in Bermuda and now lives in Co. Down, Northern Ireland. His poetry has appeared in journals and anthologies. He iscompleting a PhD at the Seamus Heaney Centre, Queen’s University Belfast, for which he is creating an online archive of poets reading their work in public. In 2006 he was awarded the James Kilfedder Bursary and was selected for Poetry Ireland’s Introductions series of readings.
